Our mission is to empower and uplift those who are underrepresented in these industries and help them achieve their dreams. Whether that is providing educational scholarships to individuals looking to gain more resources to break into the industry, or providing grants and/or living stipends to individuals currently in the industry, we are here to further the progress of the future of the industry! Our Story
About TMFE Group Foundation
TMFE Group Foundation was established with the purpose of providing educational and charitable grants, scholarships, and stipends to individuals and organizations focused on the growth and advancement of diverse representatives within the sports and entertainment industry. Our founder, Jonathan Mputu, Esq., saw a need for greater diversity and representation in these industries and decided to take action. With 10+ years of industry experience at Talent agencies, sports agencies, sports teams, and as a law school Adjunct Professor in Sports Law, Jonathan has not only learned how to navigate the sports and entertainment industry space, but has also seen the obstacles, barriers, and lost opportunities created by a lack of diverse representatives in the space. This has been an ongoing issue that the industry is hard at work attempting to solve. Since our establishment, we have been committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the sports and entertainment industry and empowering those who are underrepresented.
